My trip to India (Please mark)

"Whoa!We are going to India" I exclaimed as my parents gave me the surprise of my life.I was going go to India where I am going to go and visit my grandparents , have some fun going to some places like Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and many more.These cities are mostly on the Southern part of India.

To most people, India is an impoverished town, it has many beggars, it is an unhygenic country.But it is a big no.Chennai which is the capital of Tamilnadu is very well maintained.There are no child labourers,it has strict rules and doesnt have many beggars.I did rather say it is striving to be one of the best cities in India.

Now!The school ended on the 26th October.And we left on the 27th of October.Due to this reason, I was very inattentive on 26th of october.I couldn't help it.The idea of going overseas made me too elated.

After the school I rushed back home and packed my stuff to bring overseas..The next day we were off and arrived at Trichy airpot.My grandfather was already there with an garland in his hand to welcome me.It tells me his passion for me.He does that to me all the time when I go there.After the welcoming we went back to our house which was a 2 hours travel from there.When I was travelling in my grandfathers car we discussed about all kinds of stuff.

We soon reached our grandfather's house.We stayed there for a few days and soon deepavali came;We enjoyed deepavali with dazzling fireworks, with my nephew brother Raju.

Deepavali was soon over.And my dad came back to Singapore as he could not have many days of leave.Then we went to Madurai where Raju stays with his parents.Madurai, yet another city which is famously known for its history of Tamil literature . We stayed there for a few days and went to theme parks and a place called 'thirumalai mahal'.It is the only palace (of kings)left after the many centuries.While the other palaces have been destroyed over the time.It was really fascinating to see how kings lived in the past.


After all the days at Madurai,we went to Coimbatore and then Chennai.After all this experience at India this trip seemed very meaningful and memorable to me.It was time for us to leave for Singapore.We boarded the flight and had a smooth start.But halfway through the journey a voice boomed out of the speaker "There is a technical fault in the flight and we have to return back to Chennai!" "hooray" "yay" sounds came from children aboard the flight.They were not serious about the situation...

Adults in the flight started to worry.The worst thing was the flight had to be in standby to burn the fuel for two hours.After that we landed back in Chennai safely with our lives at our hands.We arrived in Singapore in a different flight, nine hour's late. It was a subjugate experience I ever had before.

Scout meeting (please mark)

Just as usual I attended the scout meeting today.This was the second official scout meeting for the new secondary ones who joined us after the CCA selection.Being one of the earliest to arrive there I helped to put up the flagpoles for flag raising.We soon had warm up exercises after raising the flag.There was a new secondary one today who was acting like a queer fish.He was acting wierdly; he was not doing the warm up exercises well, he was walking all the way during PT.He seemed the odd one out today.


I was not sure why he was doing that.Anyway for PT, we were required to run 2 rounds around the school.It was quite little compared with the other weeks PT.I think it was probably not to scare the secondary ones.(Not to make them appeal to another CCA) I guess.After PT we went for a little break and played water bomb.Water bomb was the highlight of the day.Water was filled inside little bags and were used to throw at people.by the end of that game I was fully soaked.we also played small games with the new secondary ones like the one (concentration, concentration, this is a game of concentration).After that we went to dry ourselves and went for a break.During which we relaxed ourselves.After that we went to have some lectures and tests, where people who have already passesd slacked.But for me I did the knots test.After that we went down to have PC (patrol corner)where we discussed about the days games and so on.



After that we had our flag lowered.After that the secodary 3s got ready to keep the flag away.One of the secondary1s (the one who was acting queer in the morning)went to our group scout leader and said that he wanted to change CCA.Everyone was shocked.After dealing with him,the group leader soon also came to me and told me that he wanted to talk with me and 2 others.He told me that he doesn't believe hao yang's rumours were true and told me to be more active.

Well,that was the end of scouts today.Next week I have an tamil orientation also.I have to make a wise choice.Which one should i go, scouts or tamil orientation?

My trip to Genting Highlands (please mark)

It's a nine hours jouney from Singapore to Genting Highlands, and that was going to be my first time there.My mum's elder brother was also bringing his family along. It consisted of my aunt, my uncle, my nephews Rambi and Devi.Devi is only 4 years old and studies in Kindergarten.But she is a very loquacious girl.I was really praying that she wouldn sit beside me in the coach because she is very annoying.


Unfortunately she was pertinacious about sitting beside me.She has this mentality that I can entertain her with my 'gadgets'.Probably my handphone and ipod.Glad I was she finally fell asleep during the journey after torturing me to use my handphone.After a little break we continued the jouney and reached Genting Highlands after long meandering roads up the hill.


Such an 'ordeal' journey with such an annoying girl. I promised myself that I will not sit beside her when returning back.We soon checked into a hotel and changed dresses.After that we went to see the shops and did some shopping and found out that there was an arcade there too.So we played there for a while.It was soon night so we bought some delicious food from the shops and went back to the rooms to eat our food.After eating, everyone gathered in my room and we played cards for a while as no one was sleepy.After a long time everyone hit the sack.1st day was over.All the fun was way ahead the next day.


I was the first one to wake up because I cannot stand the coldness.it was very cold and I could see almost all the clouds.Soon everyone was up and ready for breakfast.We ate heartily as it was a buffet.After eating we directly went to the 'theme park' and had lots of fun in roller coasters, bumper cars, boating, ghost ride, you name it.

After enjoying at the 'theme park' we came out and had a buffet dinner at the hotel.Just like the day before, we played cards and went to bed.The day was over as soon as it started. Next day we got up early and went on a cable car ride up and down the Highland.The sight was really a feast to our eyes.We soon came back and went to enjoy the snow world.We were required to wear thick clothing and gloves and so on to prvent frostbite.Actually,it was very very cold inside.there was manmade snowman and so on made from snow.After enjoying ourselves there we went back and packed up.We were ready to leave.

I didn't feel like leaving the place at all.Eventually we had to.We boarded the coach and started for singapore.Lucky,Devi wasn't sitting beside me this time round.We reached Singapore at 11:36.After that we reached our homes.And had a good night's sleep. zzz !
